Evening Echo Cork City individual championship begins

The preliminary rounds of the CDO Evening Echo Cork City individual championship will be played on Monday February 15th, with the final 64 players to then play in the grand finals at St, Vincent's on Friday February 19th.
Entry forms for the competition will be available at the delegate meeting of Tuesday January 12th, at the Glenryan Tavern.
All entries must be returned for the draw which will take place on tuesday January 26th.
Any Pub/club outside of the City bounds must nominate a Pub/Club within the confines of the City as their home board.
All preliminary games will be played over the best of three legs of 301 with a double requiried to score
The competition carries a total prize fund of €1,100 of which €500 will go to the winner, €250 to the runner-up and €125 to each of the semi-finalists.
The overall best B division player will recieve €50 as will the overall best C division player recieve €50.
