Upcoming competitions

FixturesA very active period on the darting front is ahead of us over the next four weeks or so with the playing of many competitions and the first of these gets underway on Thursday night with the playing of the Diane McCarthy memorial singles championship for ladies at the following venues: Glenryan, Brown Derby, Ma Dullea's and the Gallows.
The last 16 will play-off at the Brown Derby on Thursday February 25th.

The Glenryan Tavern will next Saturday February 20th, be the venue for the Ronnie Keating memorial singles competition.
This very popular competition always attracts a very large entry and organiser Pat McSweeney says that this year will be no exception to previous years.
Entries will be taken at the Glenryan from 2pm and the competition is open to all darts players both male and female.

The Woodview Bar in Innashannon are holding an open doubles competition on Saturday February 27th, at 7pm.
Registration for entries is timed for 6pm.
Entry fee is €12 per pair and their will be cash prizes for winners

Brian Dillon's is the venue on Sunday March 7th, for a competition which has been organised by County Board Chairman Tim Jones.
The main event will carry a total prize fund of €800, with €400 to the winner, €200 to the runner/up and €100 to each of the semi-finalists.
If sufficient entrie are received a secondary competition will take place for the first 32 players eliminated from the main event.
Depending on the number of lady entrants received there may also be a best ladies prize.
Format of main competition will be the best of 5 legs of 501.
The competition is restricted to adult players registered with the Cork County Darts Board.
First darts on the oche will be 2pm.sharp.
Entries will close on Tuesday March 2nd, and can be addressed with fee to Tim Jones 18 Killiney Heights Knocknaheeny Cork City, mobile 086/8278360
